Newport 1933 - In the waning light of a New England autumn, a young Bride arrives at her husband's ancestral estate, unprepared for what begins to stir within Cliffmoor's walls. Years ago, a sea captain's wife lived within these rooms - hoping, waiting, and ultimately drowning in a tide of unspoken memories and lives cut short. Now, time bends as the Bride chases answers through Cliffmoor's ever-whispering halls where the past refuses to rest, and time is running out.
Pay No Heed is a gothic tale woven across two sweeping eras of the indelible Newport, Rhode Island. Featuring music by Mozart, Debussy, Puccini, and more, it promises an evening of love undying, lives undone, and things that go bump in the night!
FAQ's
Am I Eligible to Audition?
All applicants must be 18+ to work with Valkyrie. For Performers, at least three years of formal training, whether private or via an arts program, is required.
What if I'm in a Degree Program?
We frequently work with artists enrolled in degree programs, and do our best to work with differing schedules.
What Materials are Required?
A PDF resume is required for all applications. For visual artists, instrumentalists, and set/costumers, we require two examples of recent work. For singers, we require a recent recording of (1) art song and (1) aria.
What does the Application/Audition Process consist of?
After submitting the application form, your materials will be reviewed by our team. Depending on the type of collaboration, and if you are applying for a specific performance, we will reach out to schedule an follow-up meeting
Is there an Application or Audition Fee?
No! We’ll never charge you to audition or apply!
